What are the product templates?

Product templates are downloadable files which help customers design print-ready files. Each template provides information on product size, layout, bleed, safety zone, and any folding or mailing guidelines.

Do I have to use a product template?

No. If you are the designer, you can use whatever program you feel most comfortable with. However, if you don't use one of our product templates, you should take a minute to verify that your files are print-ready before submission.


Additionally, if you would like to create your own design but have limited design expertise, we encourage you to review our templates available for business cards, greeting cards, postcards, and more at product templates .

What if a product template seems incorrect?

At My1Stop®, we do our best to make sure our product templates are correct and easy to understand. However, on rare occasion, an error may occur. If you feel a template is incorrect, or you are having difficulty understanding a template, please feel free to call us with feedback at 1.800.691.7867. After we've received your email, we will make every effort to address the issue in a timely manner.

How do I delete layers in a template?

The process for deleting layers varies from program to program. Please review the steps for your specific design program by visiting our product application guidelines or by consulting your software manual.

What if my artwork is a different size than the size specified in the product template?

If you want your artwork to fit into one of our product templates, you will need to resize your images by scaling them up or down proportionally to fit into a product template. You must submit the correct size for printing.


Additionally, if you are creating your design with a program that uses linked or embedded images (such as InDesign or Illustrator), you should resize the images in their native program before embedding or linking to them.
