Printable wristbands such as LaserBand® offered by My1Stop.com and other suppliers enable wristbands to be printed on almost any desktop laser or inkjet printer. While many printable wristbands are uniquely formatted to work with specific software programs such as Standard Registers’ SMARTworks® and Patient LinkUp® software, custom wristband configurations can be best solution for specific applications.

Why Use Customized Wristbands?
If the standard (or stock) as LaserBand® formats don’t meet your needs, then you should consider a custom wristband solution. The custom printable wristbands formats that our customers order are as varied as our customer base. What they all have in common – what you might have in common with them – is that their application requires a specific number, size, shape and/or color of wristbands and labels.

What’s Customizable?

If you work with a great supplier, you’ll soon find that any component of printable wristbands can be customized. Before starting your project, be sure you know exactly what information you will be printing – and where all of the information will be printed on each sheet. If you can provide a printed example (sometimes called “print positions”), your supplier should be able to configure a layout that matches perfectly. Here are some examples of wristband components that can be customized:

·         The number, size and shape of printable wristbands per sheet

·         The number, size and shape of service labels on each sheet

·         The color of each printable wristband and label

·         Printing on each printable wristband and label

·         The overall size and shape of each sheet

What About Costs and Turnaround Times?

As you know, stock LaserBand® wristband products are your most affordable option. A single carton is typically the minimum order and most stock wristband orders ship within 24 hours. Custom printable wristbands can take 2 to 3 weeks to be produced. Production time starts after you’ve approved a proof or layout provided by the supplier. Pricing is volume based so the more custom wristbands you order the lower your cost per wristband will be. Expect to meet at least a 25,000 minimum order volume.
