At least once a week, I take a look at the custom poster printing orders we have ready to print. I am always amazed by the variety of creative ideas and applications I see from My1Stop.com custom poster printing customers. I’d thought I’d share some of the more creative ideas I’ve seen - to help our poster printing customers with new ideas.

A very creative approach I’ve seen a lot of lately is in the use of variable data in custom poster printing projects. Using variable data, our customers are able to create multiple versions of the same basic artwork – without the costs and hassles of printing multiple lots. Here’s a recent example.  Our customer was holding 60 sales meetings for their franchises across the country. They planned on using custom poster printing for each location and for each day’s events. In all, they needed the same theme on all 540- 11 x 17” posters, each with different breakout session speakers, times and dates. In the past, our customer would have printed their posters one-off on wide format inkjet – at a big cost. But, by getting creative with variable printing, our customer got all of their custom poster printing done in one single order. Talk about cost and time savings. Wow.

Unusual sizes and shapes are two other creative approaches we’ve seen a lot of in custom poster printing. Many graphic designers will use unusual sizes and unique shapes to draw more attention to the poster and the message. In addition to our three standard custom poster printing sizes (11” x 17”, 18” x 24” and 24” x 36”) we can also print almost any size. In fact, we can even cut to unique shapes.
