The options available for most luggage tag printing include, hole punching, a variety of straps, loops or clips and personalization. Though not commonly used in luggage tag printing, signature panels, barcodes and other options are available. Ask your My1Stop customer service team for details!
Hole punching for luggage tags is required if you want to attach a loop or strap to your luggage tags. Hole punching is typically done with a rectangle slot punch, center to the widest or narrowest edge of the card. Punching is typically done so that the punch is directly above or to the left of the personalization. My1Stop offers a variety of hole punch shapes and positions.
Through each slot or punch, runs a strap or loop. Aesthetics and budget will be your best guides for determining the best choice. Loops are typically made of a slightly elastic continuous loop of vinyl. Straps are open ended strips of leather, vinyl or other materials that are closed by a fastener or buckle of some sort. Typically, luggage tag loops are less costly than straps. Another fastening option is to use a clip. However, clips tend to pull off much easier than loops or straps. Consider clips only if you cannot have a hole punched in your luggage tags.
A luggage tag just isn't a luggage tag if it isn't personalized. Personalizing each luggage tag should be done with the largest possible letters or font size.
