Letterhead Sizes

Letterhead Paper Stock

Letterhead printing is not only about the size of paper, but also the type of paper. Letterhead templates come in three standard types of paper stock:

• 24# Laid finish is reminiscent of handmade papers, providing a great surface background for businesses desiring a more personal appeal. Ideal for letterhead and resumes.

• 24# Linen is great for everyday use in laser or ink jet printers with a linen finish. Ideal for presentations, letterheads, resumes, legal briefs, annual reports and more.

• 70# Smooth Opaque is a higher quality offset paper with superior opacity. It is often used for letterhead, books, magazines, and other types of communication.

Letterhead Formats

Letterhead templates come in our most common format: 4/0. The format is the amount of colors printed on each side. Four color is full color, so in the case of 4/0, you would get a letterhead printed in full color on one side and no printing on the other side.
