Door Hanger Paper Stock
Door Hanger printing is not only about the size of paper, but also the type of paper. Door hanger templates come in two standard types of paper stock:

10pt. Coated 1 Side weighs slightly less than 100# Cover, but is still often used for door hanger printing and is coated on 1 side for better print quality and appearance and would be used if you were only printing on one side of your door hanger.

10pt. Coated 2 Sides weighs slightly less than 100# Cover, but is still often used for door hanger printing and is coated on both sides for better print quality and appearance and is used if you are printing on both sides of your door hanger.

Door Hanger Colors
Door Hanger templates come in these common formats: 4/0, 4/1-blk, and 4/4. The format is the amount of colors printed on each side. Four color is full color, so in the case of 4/0, you would get a door hanger printed in full color on the front and no printing on the back side. To get the inside of your door hanger in black only, you would select 4/1-blk. To get full color printed on both sides of your door hanger, you would select 4/4. |
