Pre-Sized Labels - Design
Pre-sized oval labels, round labels, and circle labels are excellent shape choices for many label applications. Your design choices will include printing in up to 4 single ink colors (spot/pms ink colors) or printing in full color with CMYK (process color) ink colors. The wide range or pre-sized oval label, round label and circle label shapes available gives you a broad selection of standard sizes and shapes. Special, non-standard shapes scan be made from a custom die made specifically for your design. Pre-sized label design includes the essential design decisions: is there a standard shape that meets your design needs and will you use photos and other full color graphics in your designs or will your design require only a few single ink colors.
Before starting your design, we suggest that you review the available standard oval label and circle label sizes. My1Stop® offers 16 different oval label sizes and 14 round label sizes. Working with one of these 30 standard sizes will save you time and money when you place your order. At the start of the design process, we also suggest determining the right printing method for your project. If you will be using full color photos or graphics that include more than 4 colors, your pricing will have to be done in the CMYK or process color printing method. For most simple label designs, using 1 or 2 colors, the spot or PMS color printing method will be a more cost effective and appropriate choice.

Pre-Sized Labels - Shapes and Sizes
Start your design process by reviewing our 16 oval labels ranging in size from 7/8" by 1" to 4" x 2" and our round labels or circle labels in 14 different sizes ranging from 1/2" to 6" diameter. Using one of these standards can keep your label buying experience cost effective and fast. If you must use a non-standard size, a special label printing die based on your design specifications will have to be made. Please note, special dies will increase your overall order price and will require longer turnaround time. Customer service can help you with custom dies, anytime.
As you look at sizes and shapes, bare in mind that the printing method you select will impact the shapes and sizes available. As a rule, more oval label and round label sizes are available in spot color printing for simpler designs than are available in full color, CMYK printing.
Choosing the best size for your round label or oval label design can be determined by answering these questions:
- What are the dimensions of the smallest area that my labels will be applied to? Find a size that fits within those dimensions.
- What printing method is best suited to my label design?
The best design approach for choosing a size is to measure the label application area, and find the best standard size "fit". Then, start your design. Use the link below to see a complete list of My1Stop® oval label and circle label sizes which adapt well to many label applications. Different sizes are available depending on the printing method you choose. Links to the My1Stop® standard roll label sizes are provided below.

Pre-Sized Labels Printing - Materials
My1Stop® offers over 20 standard printing materials for 1 to 4 spot color label printing. For full color, CMYK printing, we offer standard materials. Use the guide below to determine which material meets your label application:
Pre-sized Label Material Considerations
- For Extreme Heat or Cold Applications, Consider Vinyl or Poly Material with Permanent Adhesive
- For Long Term UV or Direct Sunshine Exposure, Consider Vinyl Material
- For Labels that will ve Re-Positioned or Re-Applied, Consider Vinyl or Poly Material with Removable or Ultra Removable Adhesive, Consider Static Cling as an Alternative
- For Labels that will ve applied to Plastics, Consider Paper or Poly Material with Permanent Adhesive
- For Labels that need to be Clear or Transparent, Consider Clear Static Cling or Poly Film Material
While laminates are not always needed for oval or round label printing, laminates will protect your roll labels from abrasion, damaging heat, cold and UV light sources. A laminate can also provide your labels with a glossy look.
Adhesives range from permanent to removable and ultra removable options depending on the label material you select. Available materials, much like label sizes, vary based on the printing method you select. The links below lead to lists of materials available by printing method.

Pre-Sized Labels Printing - Special Features & Options
My1Stop® offers the options below for oval label and circle label printing:
My1Stop® Pre-Sized Label Options
- Barcodes
- Human Readable Numbers (with or without barcode)
- Laminates and Varnish
- Roll Unwind Direction Choices
- Cardboard Core Sizes
- Custom Graphic Design Services
Barcodes - 3 of 9 is the most commonly printed barcode symbology. Most barcode scanners read 3 of 9 barcode symbols. My1Stop® also offers code 128 barcodes and code 2 of 5 barcodes. Our barcodes and numbers are mechanically printed with high contrast black-to-white printing ratios for optimal barcode readability. UPC codes are printed in black and are considered artwork rather than a numbering option.
Human readable numbers - Human readable numbers provide quick human recognition of numbered data. Human readable numbers can be printed as a standalone numbering system or they can be printed to match optically scanable barcodes on oval and circle labels.
Laminates and varnish - My1Stop® offers laminates or varnish that provides resistance to abrasion, moisture, and to color fading caused by UV light. Note too, that adding a laminate to roll labels can add a gloss or sheen to your roll label graphics. The laminates and varnishes available will vary based on the printing method you choose.
Roll unwind direction choices - Roll unwind direction determines which direction your artwork will be printed on your labels. Roll unwind direction also determines the direction that your labels can be unwound from their cardboard cores. My1Stop® offers 8 label unwind position options.
Cardboard core sizes - My1Stop® offers 1" or 3" cardboard cores. The cardboard core size must be the correct machine size if labels will be applied by any type of machine.
