 - Custom labels for a glass jar: Consider using a clear film label with permanent adhesive if you have a colorful liquid. If you use a clear label, be sure to use white behind your artwork to make sure your colors stand out. Light colors - or colors the same as your liquid tend to get lost in this custom label application.

 - Custom labels for a plastic bottle: Use either a clear film label or a white paper or white vinyl label with permanent adhesive - made to adhere to plastic. If you use a clear label, again be sure to use white behind your artwork to make sure your colors stand out. Using a white background prevents loss of color - but does affect the "view" into the bottle.

Label sizes come two ways:

• Pre-cut die sizes and shapes
• Custom sizes and shapes

Pre cut sizes and shapes come in hundreds of variations. Choose from round corner squares, square cornered squares, ovals, circles and other shapes. You can view a complete list of our standard sizes and shapes for custom label printing when you get your instant online price.

Sizes for custom labels can be cut digitally or cut from a specially made die. Digital cutting has a minimal additional cost but is available only on smaller quantity runs. Special dies are used in larger quantity custom label printing and do have an additional expense.
